In the Bible, the Upper Room was a place of profound encounter and transformation. It was where the disciples gathered, experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and were empowered to change the world.

Similarly, The Upperoom Academy is designed to be a modern-day Upper Room—a place of encounter, consecration, and preparation. For 4 weeks, every Tuesday in Brisbane, we will gather on-campus for a day of immersive training, impartation, and a night of powerful encounter.

This isn't just another program; it's a call for those ready to embrace their divine purpose and make a significant impact in their world.

The Upperroom Academy is a complimentary learning opportunity to CHC accredited courses, led by a strong lineup of INC Pastors & Apostolic Leaders. You will catch the spirit of revival and gain new confidence for your future and ministry. Just as the disciples in the Upper Room were transformed and went out to impact the world, you too will be equipped to make a lasting difference.

Diploma of
Ministry

We believe that being part of the Upperroom Academy (Tuesday day and night) and studying at CHC (Monday night and Wednesdays) offers the best holistic experience. Don’t just start the year, give God a year to transform you for kingdom service.

The Diploma of Ministry meets ordination standards and sets you up for serving God in the church whilst growing your own personal relationship with God and creating strong relationships with other students.

is upperroom academy for me?

We believe there is nothing else in life like knowing your God! For us, walking with God is the only thing that truly satisfies, and through faith He makes our undertakings successful. You were made to be glorious the day God created you - the day He chose to make a son or daughter. If that stirs your spirit, then come realise your potential and become everything God made you to be.

The Upperroom Academy regardless of your age is designed to raise you into your call. So, if you feel like you aren’t walking in your calling yet, or you want to pursue more of what God has for you, or learn to operate as a supernatural son or daughter, then Upperroom Academy is the right start for you.

  • Being physically present for impartation and ministry training offers several advantages that are often difficult to replicate in an online setting. Here are some reasons why being "in the room" is important:

Personal Connection: Face-to-face interaction fosters deeper relationships and a stronger sense of community. Ministry often relies on personal connections, and being physically present helps build trust and rapport among trainees, apostolic leaders, and trainers. You can also pick up on non-verbal communication which can be crucial for effective understanding.

Immediate Feedback: In-person training allows for instant feedback and clarification. Participants can ask questions and receive immediate responses, which enhances understanding and learning.

Hands-on Experience: Many aspects of ministry require practical, hands-on experience. Being in the room allows trainees to practice skills, such as public speaking, role playing, and moving with Holy Spirit, in a supportive environment where they can receive real-time guidance.

Building Community: Ministry is often about building and serving a community. In-person training provides opportunities for fellowship, group activities, and team-building exercises that help foster a sense of community and shared purpose among participants.

These interactions can lead to valuable mentorship relationships and networking opportunities that can support a season of exploration and a ministry career.

Spiritual Atmosphere: The environment in which training takes place can significantly impact the learning and impartation experience. Being in a dedicated space for ministry training can provide a spiritually enriching atmosphere that enhances the learning and growth process.  It also facilitates our practice of laying on of hands.

  • The foundation of Upperroom Academy is being "in the room."  There is power in proximity.   Impartation is maximised when physically present.  We understand that you may become unwell or circumstances mean you will need to join online.

Some small elements of Upperroom Academy will be available each Tuesday by live stream online.  These sections will be advised each Monday morning.
