A LEADERSHIP REVOLUTION
A LEADERSHIP REVOLUTION
In the Bible, the Upper Room was a place of profound encounter and transformation. It was where the disciples gathered, experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and were empowered to change the world.
Similarly, UPPERROOM ACADEMY is designed to be a modern-day Upper Room—a place of encounter, consecration, and preparation. For 7 weeks, every Tuesday in Brisbane, we will gather on-campus for a day of immersive training, impartation,
and a night of powerful encounter.
This isn't just another program; it's a call for those ready to embrace their divine purpose and make a significant impact in their world.
UPPERROOM ACADEMY is an unaccredited learning opportunity led by a strong lineup of INC Pastors & Apostolic Leaders. You will catch the spirit of revival and gain new confidence for your future and ministry. Just as the disciples in the Upper Room were transformed and went out to impact the world, you too will be equipped to make a lasting difference.
UPPERROOM ACADEMY is a ministry initiative
of INC & CHC School of Ministries
There will also be an option to join accredited Monday night
and Wednesday classes with CHC SoM.

who we are
At the CHC School of Ministries we believe nothing satisfies like knowing our great God. We have established the short-term UPPERROOM ACADEMY as a strong ministry hub of discovery, where the presence of the Holy Spirit is honoured and where we can learn and worship, seeking for more of Him in our lives.
UPPERROOM ACADEMY is dedicated to helping Christians encounter God, find purpose, and discover the call God has for your life.
We do this by teaching supernatural ministry combined with the natural - helping you to discover, and practically develop your call. UPPERROOM ACADEMY creates an atmosphere that nurtures and encourages growth in your relationship with God, teaches an understanding of supernatural ministry, and develops a confidence in your ability to walk with Holy Spirit.

Diploma of
Ministry
We believe that being part of the UPPERROOM ACADEMY (Tuesday day and night) and studying at the CHC School of Ministries (Monday night and Wednesdays) can be the start of your "journey of a lifetime."
Whether you are looking to spend a year exploring how you can best serve God and fulfil your calling, spend a year going deeper with God and discovering a greater measure of His indwelling, or spend a year creating strong relationships with other students to extend Kingdom influence, there is something here for you.
is upperroom academy for me?
We believe there is nothing else in life like knowing your God! For us, walking with God is the only thing that truly satisfies, and through faith He makes our undertakings successful. You were made to be glorious the day God created you - the day He chose to make a son or daughter. If that stirs your spirit, then come realise your potential and become everything God made you to be.
The UPPERROOM ACADEMY takes people of all ages, aiming to raise you into your call. So if you feel like you aren’t walking in your calling yet, or you want to pursue more of what God has for you, or learn to operate as a supernatural son or daughter, then UPPERROOM ACADEMY is the right place for you.

Being physically present for impartation and ministry training offers several advantages that are often difficult to replicate in an online setting. Here are some reasons why being "in the room" is important:
Personal Connection: Face-to-face interaction fosters deeper relationships and a stronger sense of community. Ministry often relies on personal connections, and being physically present helps build trust and rapport among trainees, apostolic leaders, and trainers.
Immediate Feedback: In-person training allows for instant feedback and clarification. Participants can ask questions and receive immediate responses, which enhances understanding and learning.
Non-verbal Communication: Much of human communication is non-verbal. Being physically present allows trainers and trainees to read body language, facial expressions, and other non-verbal cues, which can be crucial for effective communication and understanding.
Hands-on Experience: Many aspects of ministry require practical, hands-on experience. Being in the room allows trainees to practice skills, such as public speaking, role playing, and moving with Holy Spirit, in a supportive environment where they can receive real-time guidance.
Engagement and Focus: Physical presence often results in higher levels of engagement and focus. Online environments can be full of distractions, whereas being in a dedicated training space helps participants concentrate better on the material and activities.
Building Community: Ministry is often about building and serving a community. In-person training provides opportunities for fellowship, group activities, and team-building exercises that help foster a sense of community and shared purpose among participants.
Mentorship and Networking: Being physically present allows for more natural and meaningful interactions with mentors and peers. These interactions can lead to valuable mentorship relationships and networking opportunities that can support a season of exploration and a ministry career.
Experiential Learning: In-person training can include simulations, role-playing, and other interactive activities that are more effective in a physical setting. These experiences help trainees develop practical skills and confidence.
Spiritual Atmosphere: The environment in which training takes place can significantly impact the learning and impartation experience. Being in a dedicated space for ministry training can provide a spiritually enriching atmosphere that enhances the learning and growth process. It also facilitates our practice of laying on of hands.”
Accountability: Being physically present often creates a greater sense of accountability. Trainees are more likely to stay committed to their experience and learning goals and participate fully when they are present in the room with their peers and trainers.
In summary, while online training offers convenience and accessibility, being "in the room" provides a richer, more immersive experience that is essential for effective ministry training.
-
The foundation of UA is being "in the room." There is power in proximity. Impartation is maximised when physically present.
However, some small elements of UA will be available each Tuesday by live stream online. These sections will be advised each Monday AM.
-
Yes you can. We expect UPPERROOM ACADEMY will become "the place to be" as the word gets out that God is doing something new.
Churches and ministries can use the 7 Tuesdays for team training or professional development because of the quality INC pastors and apostolic leaders who will be presenting and ministering.

UPPERROOM ACADEMY is an Incubator of Faith!
Our faith in God is important and it helps us connect with Him.
We have a strong culture of faith. Our students take God literally when He said “seek and you will find.” We are bold in belief, so we look in new places and try new things to help us discover more of God. UPPERROOM ACADEMY is an incubator for your faith and you will be challenged to think anything is possible with God!
The faith-filled environment makes you believe nothing is impossible, so students respond boldly by learning something one day and taking action the next, practicing and applying what they learned to life now –and we all benefit as they focus on God’s Kingdom.

Acts 1:13 NKJV
