UPPERROOM Academy is coming to Melbourne for a special one-day pop-up experience.

In the Bible, the Upper Room was a place of profound encounter and transformation, where the disciples gathered, experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and were empowered to change the world.

The UPPERROOM Academy Pop-Up in Melbourne carries that same spirit. A one-day experience of encounter, consecration and preparation.

"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place."

Acts 2:1

Designed for young adults hungry to go deeper in their walk with God, this gathering combines powerful worship, teaching and impartation to awaken purpose and ignite faith.

It's for the called and the curious. You don't have to be leading anything, or have it all worked out, to be in the room. If you're hungry for more of God, you belong here.

The day finishes with Gathered As One, a combined youth and young adults night. This isn't just another event. It's an invitation to step into what God is doing in our nation and be equipped to make a lasting impact.

What we'll cover.

Session titles are released closer to the day. Sessions can include:

The Day

Friday 20th November.

  1. 10:00am

    Coffee & Welcome

    Doors open, coffee on. Come early, meet people, find your seat.

  2. Morning

    Sessions

    Worship and the opening word. We set the tone for the day and make room for the Holy Spirit.

  3. Midday

    Lunch

    Lunch is included.

  4. Afternoon

    Sessions

    The practical half of the day. Teaching, Q&A and activation, with time to actually have a go at what we're talking about.

  5. Mid Afternoon

    Coffee Break

    Grab a coffee, talk about what you're processing, then we go again.

  6. Late Afternoon

    Sessions

    The last block of teaching before we turn the room over to the night.

  7. 6:30pm

    Gathered As One

    A combined youth and young adults night. Worship, the Word, and ministry at the altar. This is what we build the whole day towards.

The pop-up is a taste. UPPERROOM Academy 2027 is the whole thing: four Thursdays in February on the CHC campus in Brisbane, with streams in Worship, Marketplace, Holy Spirit and Leadership. If Melbourne stirs something, that's where it goes next.

We do encourage people to be there for the whole day so you get the full experience, but we understand if that isn't possible. Gathered As One at 6:30pm is open to everyone, so if the day doesn't work, come to the night.

Young adults. It's built for both the called and the curious, so you don't need to be leading anything or have your life mapped out to be in the room. Gathered As One in the evening is a combined youth and young adults night, so bring the whole youth group.

A Bible, something to write with, and a friend. Lunch is provided.

It's the same DNA in one day. UPPERROOM Academy itself runs across four Thursdays in February on the CHC campus in Brisbane, with streams in Worship, Marketplace, Holy Spirit and Leadership. The pop-up is a taste of it, brought to you.

Please do, that's the whole point. We're anchored in the local church and we send people home stronger, not somewhere else. Register your group here or email us and we'll help you organise it.
